Emmerdale's Angie Reynolds was the ex-wife of Sean Reynolds and the mother of Marc and Ollie Reynolds. She first arrived to the village in March 1999, the police sergeant, was eager to move into the village but was frustrated at Sean's delays.
So she took measures in to her own hands by handcuffing him to the bed until he agreed to sign the contract. She arrested Mandy Dingle after being punched in the face by her.
Actor Freya Copeland who played Angie was involved in many big storylines throughout her time in the ITV soap, one of the most notable was her involvement in the investigated the death of Rachel Hughes in May 1999, shortly after her arrival in the Dales.

Not to mention her affair with village bad boy Cain Dingle which ended in a fatal car accident when Angie tried to call it off with Cain. Determined to get revenge Cain went on to sleep with Angie's 15-year-old daughter Ollie and was subsequently beaten up by Angie’s husband Sean.
Angie tried to trick Cain into robbing Tate Haulage, pretending to be in on the act with the intention of arresting him but a car chase resulted in Angie's police car being flipped. Cain dragged an injured Angie out of the car.
She told him to tell her children that she loves them. Cain begged her to tell him that she loves him but she tragically died in his arms.
The whole Reynolds family was later axed by producer Steve Frost following Stephen McGann's decision to leave the role as Sean Reynolds. But what happened to Angie Reynolds actor Freya Copeland and what is she doing now?
Freya is now 51-years-old. She was born in Staffordshire, England, on December 3, 1969. While she is best known for her role on the soap she has also appeared in The Bill, The Royal, Casualty, Holby City and Doctors.
She also won the British Soap Award for Best Exit for her dramatic Emmerdale death when she was recognised for her incredible parting performance. Freya is thought to have been married to her husband, Toby Walton for 20 years and the pair share a son together.
Actor Freya Copeland seems to have kept a fairly quiet profile since she left Emmerdale back in 2002. However, she did star alongside Bradley Walsh and Freema Agyeman in the first season of Law & Order: UK in 2009.
