Taking Paul on first was Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon on the Yorkshire soap.

Mark admitted the last time he was on The Chase, he only managed to score £2,000 in the cash builder.

Luckily, tonight Mark improved - securing £3,000 in the first round.

But in order to add the money to the prize pot, Mark would have to beat Paul.

During one question in the head-to-head, Mark was asked by Bradley: "A blue whale's tongue weighs roughly the same as what?"

The options were A) Seal B) Giraffe or C) Elephant.

The Emmerdale actor opted for 'Elephant' causing Bradley Walsh to grimace.

Bradley said: "You haven't put elephant have you? Oh god you have."

The host thought the answer was seal, stating a whale's tongue could surely not be so big.

But when the correct answer of elephant was revealed, Mark fell to the floor n shock.

Paul, who also answered correctly, said: "The blue whale is the biggest mammal on earth."
