An Emmerdale favourite refuses to let her young children watch her in the popular ITV soap.
Star Charley Webb, 32, has just made a shock return to the village - although her little ones won’t have seen it. Over Christmas, her character Debbie Dingle was revealed as Al Chapman's mystery woman.
The soap star, 32, shares sons Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and Ace, 17 months, with fellow Emmerdale star husband Matthew Wolfenden, 40.
Speaking to The Sun about her decision, Charley explained: “As the kids are young, I don't let the kids watch it really so I'll have to catch up a few days later. Bowie's still a bit young to understand so we never have it on when they're around.'
Charley had to keep plans for her return secret.
She said: “It's been hard keeping filming a secret, I only told my close friends and family so there was less chance of it getting out.”
