Pierce is back and it's Vanessa who is in his firing line.
As the vet struggles with the knowledge that Charity has stolen Graham's money and that she is lying to Rhona, a completely blindsided Vanessa is crept upon by Pierce as she looks for one of Johnny's toys around the back of The Woolpack.
But things go from bad to worse as Pierce is holding Jhonny's hand before picking him up and making a run for it.
He is instantly pursued by Vanessa but what is his plan?
Over at Butler's farm, Matty is worries that he isn't going to cope managing it alone.
And with talk of rustlers in the area, Cain's concern leads him to asking Sam to help - but Matty refuses to accept it.
A group of rustlers do soon arrive in the area and after a couple of days of surveillance, Matty and Amy arrive back and notice some sheep have escaped.
After again refusing Amy's suggestion of calling Cain, the pair are approached by one of the rustlers.
Matty and Amy leg it, but they realise they’re surrounded by a whole group of them.
But will Moira save the day when she intervenes holding a loaded gun?
Elsewhere, poor Marlon is still in prison on suspicion of a murder he didn't commit but the 'Free Marlon' campaign continues thanks to Mandy.
