Emmerdale airs the revealing of Maya Stepney’s court verdict on Thursday.
The character was arrested after being exposed for grooming teenage stepson Jacob Gallagher, manipulating him into believing they were in love.
She denied everything to the police, but did confess to sending Jacob, her student and the son of her partner David Metcalfe, explicit texts.
Jacob is still standing by her, with Wednesday’s episode seeing the lovers share another embrace despite them not meant to be seeing each other.
Maya had been set upon by a group of schoolgirls, after everyone found out about her and Jacob.
He soon came to her rescue with the help of Noah, leading to the pair driving off and getting cosy once more.
During Thursday’s double bill, Maya finally faces the jury.
She’s due to be sentenced, with Jacob’s family joining him at court to watch.
Maya is worried about what will happen, unsure if things will go her way.
As the episodes end, Maya’s verdict will be read out, but viewers will have to tune in to find out what goes down.
Also on Wednesday, David reached out to Jacob in a bid to heal their broken relationship.
Jacob blames David for losing Maya, while David is still trying to make the teenager see he was groomed.
Whether the pair can fix things and get past Maya is yet to be seen.
