Emmerdale airs tense scenes on Wednesday, with spoilers teasing the moment teen Jacob Gallagher dumps his secret lover Maya Stepney.
Maya, the girlfriend of Jacob’s dad David Metcalfe, has been grooming him for months, with the pair sleeping together for the first time in recent scenes.
Viewers have called for the storyline to end, as 16-year-old Jacob continues to be manipulated into a secret affair with his stepmother.
But in looming scenes on the ITV soap, Jacob finally has enough and decides to end things with Maya.

He has no idea he’s being groomed, and has even started up a romance with pal Liv Flaherty to cover their tracks.
Liv considers sleeping with Jacob this week, fearing he’s going off of her because they’ve not had sex.
She has no idea though that the real reason Jacob seems uninterested is because he’s secretly seeing Maya, with him now struggling with his guilt.
Not wanting to betray dad David anymore, and not wanting Liv to get hurt, Jacob decides to come clean.
But Maya, realising the trouble she will be in if her secret is exposed, does what she can to prevent him from announcing the truth.
It all gets too much for Jacob though, as he dumps Maya and ends their secret romance for good.
Will Maya be able to change his mind, or is her game up?
Her secret is tipped to be revealed in the coming weeks, while details on where the plot is leading have yet to be confirmed.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
