Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Manpreet U-turn, Al tricks Belle and Noah drama

Emmerdale airs twists and turns next week on the ITV soap, as characters plot against others, and some spark concern.

There's more drama ahead for the Dingles, as one character is fooled by a village villain, and another acts out.

Noah Dingle also seems to be up to no good again, while Gabby Thomas heads off on a mystery trip.

Manpreet Sharma finally finds the confidence to stand up to her sister Meena Jutla in court, but could she be playing right into her trap? There's also news of another witness.

Here's everything fans can look forward to next week on the soap...

Manpreet takes on Meena

Manpreet Sharma will decide to take on her evil sibling after all next week - but she isn't the only one taking to the stand.

The character recently suffered with her mental health, after a harrowing ordeal at the hands of her serial killer sister Meena Jutla.

As the only person who got a literal confession from Meena, Manpreet has been tasked with testifying - but recent scenes saw the character refuse.

New spoilers detail the moment she changes her mind, as an offer from lawyer Ethan, her former stepson, leaves her determined to bring her sister down.

Meena seems convinced she's going to walk free for her crimes, while her sister and Ethan prepare for what's ahead.

The villain is all fired-up and ready to put on a show-stopping performance once she realises Manpreet is testifying, and she plans her opportunity to publicly destroy her sister for once and for all.

But there's another twist in store, as a second village resident is called to testify during the trial too - Wendy Posner.

Wendy lived with victims Andrea and Ben at different times, but she's actually been called as a witness for the defence, leaving Manpreet wondering what Meena is up to.

Nate sparks concern

Nate Robinson is still struggling next week (ITV)

Nate Robinson is still struggling next week, as he misses his baby daughter Frankie.

His ex Tracy Metcalfe got a new job offer in Nottingham that she could not turn down, shortly after her split with Nate when he cheated on her.

Tracy departed in January this year with Nate's blessing, and took their baby daughter Frankie with her - while she promised Nate he could visit whenever he wanted.

Nate is left down in the dumps in upcoming scenes (ITV)

Nate is left down in the dumps in upcoming scenes as he struggles with being without his little girl, two months on from her moving away.

Next week this continues, as he carries on hitting the bottle to suppress his feelings, leaving his loved ones concerned for his wellbeing.

So is this a new storyline for the character, and will he be okay?

Al betrays Belle

Emmerdale's Al Chapman will be up to his old tricks again next week on the ITV soap, as he once again threatens to cross the Dingles (ITV)

Emmerdale may have teased what could lead to Al Chapman and Cain Dingle's reported car chase stunt later this year.

Spoilers for next week on the ITV soap reveal he targets Cain's younger sister Belle, with him firmly up to his old tricks again.

Belle will not see it coming, despite his shady past, as she willingly delves into her future plans - and a possible money-making new plan for herself.

Of course broke Al will attempt to steal the ideas all for himself, not caring who he betrays in the process.

After months of working for Eric Pollard at the B&B, she realises it's not what she wants to do with her life, dissatisfied with her work there.

Dreaming bigger, she decides to plan a career that she can carve out for herself, that will hopefully set her up for her future.

Al, meanwhile, is struggling to find work after his drama with the Dingles and the pub.

As she goes into detail about what she thinks could work and her ideas for a business, she is completely unaware he is paying full attention - and not just listening.

It soon becomes clear that he's trying to steal them for himself, but will he succeed and how will Belle react?

Noah targets Chloe

Noah is refusing to let Chloe go it seems (ITV)

Noah is refusing to let Chloe go it seems, and next week he's got something up his sleeve.

When he sees her leaving Nate's house, after the pair get cosy the night before, he tries to get her to go for a drink with him.

But her rejection leaves him angry and his true colours are once again revealed, shortly after he apologises for how he treated her before.

Later in the week though, he is suddenly friendly with Chloe again after she is rejected by Nate.

As the upset character reels from her encounter with Nate, she bumps into Noah and the awkwardness between them thaws.

Noah does his best to be a friend in need for the teen and offers his support, and Chloe is surprised.

But it's clear to viewers that Noah is up to something as he resolves to play his cards carefully.

Elsewhere on the soap next week, there's a new love interest for Vanessa Woodfield, as she bumps into newcomer Suzy and the pair hit it off.

Vanessa is pleased as they plan a dinner date after a flirty exchange, but is she really over Charity?

Gabby Thomas clashes with Kim Tate over baby Thomas' looming christening, with Kim wanting granddaughter Millie there.

But as they finally agree on a date, Gabby sets off somewhere to locate a surprise for Kim, only to face a huge shock.
