The drama around Dawn's wedding begins in scenes airing next week on the soap, as the bride-to-be is struggling at work, making repeated mistakes which leave Vanessa unimpressed.

But for Dawn this proves to be the least of her worries, as she is being followed in the days leading up to her wedding, with a mystery individual watching her every move.

Cain later catches Kyle asking Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) to buy him a top-up card from the shop and Cain's rage boils over when Kyle tells him that Al gave him a mobile phone.

Cain works himself up into such a fury that his temper reaches a pique and terrified Kyle suddenly goes missing - leaving Cain devastated.

Will Kyle be found after his shock disappearance on the soap? And if he does come home, has Cain’s feud with Al cost him his relationship with his son?

Rishi collapses as Jai exposed

A distressing chain of events which culminate in his father Rishi (Bhasker Patel) collapsing (ITV)

Jai Sharma is headed for a reckoning in next week’s episodes of the soap, as his life begins to unravel.

ITV spoilers reveal that Jai ( Chris Bisson ) faces homelessness as Kim (Claire King) plans to oust them from their home to sell it.

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) is left distraught by the news - as Jai begins to plot a route out of the mess - setting off a distressing chain of events which culminate in his father Rishi ( Bhasker Patel ) collapsing.

Priya and Bernice both let rip to Jai as things escalate and impact them, giving him an earful about his selfish and sneaky behaviour - but then all of a sudden Rishi collapses amidst the chaos.

As his father is rushed to hospital, will Jai finally consider the effects of his underhand behaviour?

Jai and Laurel could be heading for drug and drink relapses as their relationship worsens on Emmerdale.

In scenes airing next week, the couple struggle to cope as their world comes crashing down around them.

Jai has been struggling with money ever since The Hop - which he owns in partnership with Kim - was fined £100,000 for health and safety breaches after the devastating rope bridge collapse.

In a desperate attempt to foot his half of the bill, Jai tries to take out a personal loan in Laurel's name.

However, when Laurel finds out about all this, she is rightly fuming - as Jai's now risked everything.

Both characters have struggled with addiction in the past - Jai with drugs and Laurel with alcohol - and now there are fears the pair might relapse as their relationship seemingly worsens.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, actress Charlotte said: "Once you’re an addict you’re always an addict. Anything like this can rock them, but we’ll have to see how each of them manages. That’s always the devil on their shoulder, isn’t it?"

Chris added: "It doesn’t go away just because you’ve stopped taking the drugs or drinking the drink. The temptation is always there. It’s at these points of pressure where people are likely to crack and certainly Jai will come close."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
