Emmerdale spoilers: Child abuse plot takes worrying turn as Archie goes missing

Emmerdale airs worrying scenes next week, as little Archie Sharma vanishes as he remains at the centre of a shocking child abuse storyline.

Archie has been physically and emotionally tormented by his older stepbrother Arthur Thomas for weeks.

Jimmy King was wrongly accused of harming Archie after his dad Jai discovered bruising on him.

While suspicions continue, the village is yet to discover that it's Jai's stepson Arthur, the son of his partner Laurel, who is hurting the youngster.

Next week, spoilers have confirmed things escalate with Archie acting out.

But where is Archie and is he okay?

It's not yet known whether Arthur knows where the youngster is, and if Jimmy can prove his innocence before it's too late.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm.
