Emmerdale spoilers: Chas gets steamy with Al and Aaron is devastated by mystery letter

Emmerdale 's Lydia Dingle finally gets her results for her Huntington's test that she has been terrified about for months.

Her father died from the illness which "stops parts of the brain working properly over time", and "gets gradually worse over time and is usually fatal after a period of up to 20 years" according to the NHS website.

After angry outbursts led Lydia to realise her behaviour was changing, which is a symptom of the illness, Lydia will finally get the results and come to term with them.

As Aaron prepares to go on a kayaking session with Ben Dingle, he opens a letter addressed to him and is left winded by its contents.

Meanwhile, Aaron Dingle asks Bear Wolf for suggestions on helping Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirk's relationship get back on track after a huge row.

But they are interrupted when another argument erupts between the couple.

Chas storms out, leaving Paddy to look after Eve, and she bumps into Al Grant at the Zen Gardens.

They both laugh about the fact they are hiding from someone, as Al was hiding from Rishi.

Al and Chas start to flirt as they joke about their relationships, and Chas realises as Al leaves that they had a wonderful time together.

Tracy Metcalfe opens up to Cain Dingle about her fears over her future with Nate Robinson and their baby.

Will fights his feelings for Harriet when she reaffirms her love for him.

However, after Harriet mentions her trip away, Will’s mood darkens and he orders her to leave.

* Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
