Emmerdale spoilers: Baby Thomas in horror fall as Amelia drops him amid health scare

Emmerdale spoilers reveal worrying scenes are set to take place next week and there are fears for baby Thomas after babysitter Amelia Spencer drops him.

In scenes due to air next week the youngster is rushed to hospital after Harriet Finch learns that the tot has had a bang, but what she doesn't realise is that, Amelia, who was looking after him, was holding him at the time of the incident.

Amelia dropped baby Thomas when she passed out after losing her vision in a funny turn, but the teen is quick to cover up the truth by saying he had fallen out of his high chair, as she fears the consequences of being in trouble.

When Gabby arrives Amelia is racked with guilt and her lies are later uncovered when little Lucas reveals he saw Amelia fall whilst holding Thomas, Kim calls Amelia out for lying as she faces a barrage of questions about her blackout.

Amelia's own health scare comes about as she continues to take weight gain syrup, amid her body image struggles, her dad, Dan, is left reeling when Amelia reveals the reason she was left feeling dizzy and nauseas was due to the product she had bought off the internet.

The teen eventually agrees to get checked out at the hospital, with her dad fearing for her health. Once out of sight, Dan gives into his tears.

The following day Gabby is left shaken after a visit from social services following Thomas' fall, her anger towards Amelia is still raw but can she forgive her?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
