Emmerdale's Meena Jutla is set to find herself in a very sticky situation next week when all hell breaks loose in the Dales.
In what is set to be one of the soap's most ambitious weeks of drama full of twists and turns, it's already been confirmed that one character will die as Meena’s reign of terror takes hold.
The episodes will centre around the survival challenge, which begins with cries of enthusiasm.
As the survivalists jump into their rafts and set off down the river, Billy and Ben try to rally their respective team members.
All seems to be going well but the day soon takes a horrible turn and many are left fighting for their lives in the menacing waters.
With Meena on a mission to kill and the elements set against them, the event turns into a race to survive but who will lose?
Meena maliciously damages Victoria Sugden’s harness and then watches in fear as Manpreet takes Victoria’s harness to use instead.
At one point, viewers will see Meena hold Victoria's lifeless body under the water, but someone is watching her from afar.
Wanting to find out what the mystery person has seen, Meena follows them into the maze.
With only one thing on her mind, Meena is ready to kill should anyone get in her way and unfortunately there's no easy way out for them.
However, a flash forward scene shows Meena lying motionless in the maze - so perhaps she has finally met her match and her murderous ways will come to an end.
A voiceover of Meena is heard saying: "It was meant to be a day of fun. And it was, to begin with. Everyone was really up for it. Competitive but friendly, you know? A lovely atmosphere.
"It was a trial run, so I suppose we imagined the odd thing might go wrong. But not this. No one could have imagined this."
Speaking about the upcoming scenes, actress Paige Sandhu - who plays Meena - confirmed that "Victoria is in a lot of trouble".
"Meena doesn’t like Victoria as she’s so meddlesome and won't leave David alone. When Meena finds out they’re in love, it triggers something in her," Paige teased.
Meena doesn’t set out to kill for the thrill. Even though she does enjoy it, she doesn’t need to kill for the excitement. However, when it comes to someone standing in the way of what she wants, she will kill.
"Victoria is standing in the way of what she wants, which is David. She really doesn’t like Victoria and will do anything to get her out of the way.
"Her number one priority is to get rid of Victoria anyway she can so I’d say Victoria is in a lot of trouble," Paige added.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
