Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has teased there's some serious drama head for Belle Dingle and Kyle this Christmas.
The actress - who has played Belle since 2005 - has opened up about what fans can expect from the ITV soap towards the end of this year, as she reveals Belle and Kyle are in for a difficult festive season - and who knows what could happen for the pair?
They head out on an excursion with Ellis together, whilst Priya is at home, struggling to eat. She makes a call out to Ellis, who rushes back to help Priya - just as Belle tries to lean in for a kiss with Ellis.
As Ellis rushes to support Priya, Belle is left feeling disappointed.
Eden shared: "I think Belle really likes Ellis and has always had a soft spot for him since they were together years ago. Belle feels he is finally moving on from Priya and they really could go somewhere. He’s making a real effort with Belle and she’s loving hanging out with him. Belle thinks he feels the same.
"He suddenly drops Belle and Kyle in a second when Priya calls because she's having a breakdown. He doesn’t hesitate to leave them both in the woods to go and help her. Belle is 100% jealous. Belle and Ellis are nearly kissing when he gets the call from Priya and I think that tells Belle his head is still all over the place with her."
Kyle then returns to find Belle on her own and he has badly twisted his ankle, so the pair decide to call time on their trip away and head back to the village. However, she soon realises she gave her car keys to Ellis and they are now unable to head back.
"They’ve packed up and are heading to the car to get Kyle back to Cain when she realises Ellis has the car keys," Eden added, "She tries to call Ellis and Cain but as she’s calling Cain her phone dies. She realises the temperature is freezing at this point and Kyle can’t walk, they’re about an hour away from the village so have no way to get back and she’s really panicking now."
Eden added: "She smashes the car window in an attempt to get Kyle warm but she is losing all hope at this point. She’s trying to keep a brave face for Kyle but she knows if they’re left out here all night they’re in big trouble."
The pair are now having to brave the elements themselves as they huddle into the car in the freezing cold. But with no phone signal and no sign of any help on its way - what will happen to them?
