Emmerdale siblings set to reunite for West End event after dramatic murder plot exit

Emmerdale siblings Tom Lister and Kelsey-Beth Crossley are set to reunite after signing up for a West End streaming event.

Both Blackpool natives, The West End in Blackpool will see them and a number of other local talents perform numbers from West End musicals in a streaming event from the Blackpool Winter Gardens.

Tom and Kelsey played brother and sister Carl King and Scarlet Nichols in the Yorkshire soap.

Carl was murdered by Cameron Murray (Dominic Power) in 2012, while Kelsey's Scarlet had a relationship with Adam Barton (Adam Thomas), before emigrating to Canada that same year.

Carl first appeared in the village way back in 2004, and soon established himself as a ladies man and womaniser.

Cameron killed him with a brick in tense scenes, and just moments later was found by Adam and then-girlfriend Victoria.

Scarlett, meanwhile, first turned up in 2007, and stuck around after Carl's murder five years later.

She returned to Canada after the reading of her brother's will threatened to expose deep divisions in the village.

Carl was a troublemaker on the show (ITV)

Actor Tom's no stranger to the West End, having taken on the lead role in 42nd Street after his grisly Emmerdale exit, a gig that took him to the Royal Variety stage in 2017.

Kelsey, meanwhile, appeared on The Voice, with Emmerdale co-star Nick Miles, who played Jimmy King, watching in the audience.

Jodie Prenger, Ashley Luke Lloyd and Laura Wilson are among names appearing in the West End event.

Meanwhile, Emmerdale has recently aired emotional scenes after the sudden death of Paul on his wedding day.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

* Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays
