Emmerdale's Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley 'don't see each other on set' despite marriage

Emmerdale star Zoe Henry has spoken of her working relationship with co-star and husband Jeff Hordely.

Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley, who play Rhona Goskirk and Cain Dingle respectively, have been married since 2003 with the pair being Emmerdale mainstays for many years. Their characters rarely share scenes together although they did for Rhona’s recent wedding to Marlon Dingle.

Talking to the Express, Zoe joked: “I probably won’t see him for another couple of years unless maybe one of us (their characters) dies - oh no I won’t be there.”

The couple, who have two children Violet and Stan, have often had alternate filming schedules to cover their childcare demands. “This (the wedding) was actually a really lovely couple of weeks of filming, so it’s nice to see Jeff about really,” explained Zoe.

“It’s the day job, that sounds really boring but it is and it’s nice as we got to travel in together and home together (for the wedding filming). It’s a boring answer but it is just our job, I think sometimes you just dread those long days.”
