Emmerdale's Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley bid farewell to colleague with 'good luck' post

Zoe Henry has shared a sweet farewell post to a colleague who worked behind-the-scenes on Emmerdale, who is now moving on to pastures new.

The 47-year-old actress, who plays Rhona Goskirk in the ITV soap, is married to co-star Jeff Hordley, who is Cain Dingle in the Dales.

The couple have often shared their gardening prowess on social media, as they spend their time on the allotment that have in their garden, but this time it was offering well-wishes to a former colleague that caught the eye.

Zoe had reacted on Twitter after the Emmerdale social media producer announced that they were moving on to a new role with the BBC.

Max Nicholl, who said that it had been a "blast" working on the soap, wrote on Twitter: "After over five incredible years, today was my last day at Emmerdale. I've loved every minute of my time at ITV working with a group of amazing people. It's been a blast!

"Next stop, I'm super excited to be joining the team at BBC Radio 1!"

Zoe replied: "Good luck Max."

Back on the Jeff and Zoe's allotment, they had some exciting news to share with their thousands of followers.

They have often shared their tips and tricks for growing fruit and vegetables and recently they posted a pic of the new poly tunnel that had been erected.

The soap stars are hoping to increase the number and variety of crops that they can grow and Zoe shared a look at their new growing zone on Instagram.

Zoe wrote: "Revamp! New skin on the poly tunnel (by experts, not by us!) and a shingle path down. It’s beginning to a lot like Springtime...@HordleyJeff."

It garnered quite a reaction among their followers, with one commenting: "Maybe I’m getting old, but this has got me REALLY excited!"

Zoe replied: "You’re welcome!"

The couple have been an advocate for fresh, homegrown produce, and she told Fabulous last year: "We have an allotment and it’s so therapeutic to have your hands in the earth.

"We’re mindful of what we eat, but watching our diet isn’t about being on TV, it’s more about general well-being, as Jeff has Crohn’s disease."
