It promises to be a dramatic Christmas Day on Emmerdale as first look pictures show a devastating explosion rip through the Woolpack pub.
A complicated battle has played out for ownership of the iconic pub between the Dingles and Al Chapman in recent months.
The character played by Michael Wildman succeeded in his attempts to become a partner in The Woolpack as part of his plot to turn the establishment into luxury flats.

Last night's episode saw his sinister plans develop as he sabotaged Marlon's Champagne promotion in order to provoke Chas.
His scheme worked as Chas smashed a bottle of Champagne in the bar before lashing out at Nicola in front of Officer Swirling.
Al ended the episode by laughing off Cain's threats with confidence his plan for control of the pub is about to come to fruition.
However, the teaser images for the dramatic Christmas Day episode indicate things might not go as smoothly as Al expects.
The inferno also raises questions of what will become of joint owners Marlon and Chas if their livelihood is about to go up in flames.
Emmerdale's producer has warned the blaze is just the surface of the drama about to rock the Yorkshire village on the soap's flagship festive episode.
Kate Brooks said: "It's not just the Woolpack that goes up in flames on Christmas Day, as secrets and lies explode, ripping through the lives of some of our much loved villagers and making it a Christmas they'll never forget".
This explosive Christmas Day episode will air at 7pm for an hour long special on ITV and subsequently on the ITV Hub.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays
