Emmerdale teen Samson Dingle has faced huge heartache on the ITV soap, while he's set for drama in upcoming scenes.
The younger, aged 16, is the son of Sam Dingle and late character Alice Dingle, and has been on the show since 2006.
Samson has been involved in the odd key storyline over the years, more so when he was a baby, while of late he hasn't featured much.
That is be about to change, as fans now know he is the father of pregnant teen Amelia Spencer's baby.
Samson has recently been on screen a little more, and has begun dating Cathy Hope. Here's a look at some of his biggest moments...
What happened to Samson's mother? Who was she?
Samson's mother tragically died when he was just a baby. Alice Dingle, wife of Sam Dingle, found out in 2005, while pregnant, that she had cancer.
She was advised to have a termination and start chemotherapy, but Alice refused. As Alice continued to refuse treatment while pregnant, the character had to have an emergency cesarean as little Samson was in distress.
After Samson was born prematurely, he was rushed into intensive care before being able to go home a month later. Meanwhile, Alice began treatment but after learning it wasn't helping her, she stopped having it.
In huge storyline just after Samson was born, Sam helped Alice to die by giving her an overdose of morphine.
Is Samson the father of Amelia's baby?
Samson has recently been confirmed as the mystery dad of Amelia Spencer's baby.
Viewers were convinced Samson was the father of the baby, as Samson made it clear he fancied Amelia earlier this year.
Amelia didn't seem interested though, while she has not been seen in a romance with any of the boys in the village on screen.
Her pregnancy came as a shock, and viewers listed names who they thought could be the dad.
Who plays Samson?
Samson is played by actor Sam Hall. Sam has played the role since 2009.
Prior to this, three other actors played Samson for one to two-year periods. Samson was born on the soap in 2006.
