Emmerdale favourite Samatha Giles is pleased the ‘terrible’ Meena Jutla storyline is coming to an end.
As Emmerdale fans know, villain Meena Jutla, played by Paige Sandhu, has been responsible for bumping off many of the soap’s best-loved characters.
We now know Meena’s time in the show won’t be much longer after her terrible crimes have been exposed.

One person happy it is coming to an end is Samantha Giles, who has played Bernice Blackstock, over a number of spells since 1998.
She recently appeared Wonderbirds YouTube show to discuss the Meena storyline and how she rarely has time to watch Emmerdale.

"I think it is. It’s terrible, I’m in the show and I don’t really ever watch it, which is awful," Samantha said.
"You know what it’s like, it’s that time when you’re either putting the kids to bed or you’re getting dinner or whatever, but I know that it’s very close to coming to a head."
Samantha added: "And I think it’s probably timely (the conclusion of Meena’s storyline).
“Lots of people have said that they’ve enjoyed it, but you know, come on, it’s time for it to (end)."
We are sure there will be a few twists and turns before Meena finally gets what he deserves.
