Former Emmerdale star Ryan Hawley made his first TV appearance this week since quitting his role as Robert Sugden on the long running ITV soap.
Ryan made his debut as Michael Robson in the Silent Witness episode called Matters of Life and Death on Tuesday and he was completely unrecognisable from his former role as Robert Sugden.
The actor left the dales two years ago after portraying the role of Robert for four years, he was a firm favourite on the soap as one half of the show's best-loved couples, nicknamed Robron by fans, The Mirror reports.

Fans were left devastated by Robert's departure from the village, however, he was recently mentioned again on the show.
Since leaving Emmerdale Ryan has not appeared in any other TV shows, with Silent Witness being his first TV gig since his departure.
Fans were left gobsmacked by Ryan's new look as Michael, which was a stark comparison to his look as Robert Sugden.
The star looked so different that many viewers didn't realise it was him initially, with some even questioning who was playing the role of Michael.
It seem's Ryan has had quite to transformation over the past two years, although it is not known whether his new look is specifically for the role.
He's grown his hair out to a shoulder length do, and is also sporting facial hair with a beard and a moustache - so it's no wonder some viewers had to double take.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "It's Robert Sugden. How have I only just realised that."
Another agreed: "Almost didn't recognise #Emmerdale Robert in tonight's #SilentWitness !"
A third asked: "Robert from #Emmerdale hiding under that beard?"
Meanwhile another quipped: "Robert is that you, and what did you do?"
It comes after hopes from fans that he could make a return, after a twist concerning the crime he was sent to prison for.
Robert learned he could appeal his sentence as he might not have been the only person to cause the death of Lee Posner.
However, his sister Victoria was devastated when Robert decided not to appeal, believing he was where he belonged for his crime.
Emmerdale also confirmed the character was not making a comeback, after fans believed they were hinting at a return.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
