Emmerdale's 'ridiculous' storyline slammed as Theo goes missing

Emmerdale viewers were quick to criticise producers today as Theo was taken by Meena.

Meena stole Theo from Victoria's house as Victoria went upstairs to check on her son Harry.

Victoria and Theo's dad David were left panicked and horrified as they discovered Theo was missing.

Manpreet rang Meena to tell her what had happened and Meena said she would come and help with the search, despite her already being with Theo.

Meena came round the corner around 15 minutes later with Theo, just as David and Victoria were considering calling the police.

She told Victoria and David that Theo had been by the river on the bridge, leaning over looking at the water.

But viewers were quick to spot a plothole in Meena's story, as Theo can barely walk and would not have been able to get to the bridge unaided.

And lots of fans took to twitter to slam the scenes.

Estella Joyce said: "There is no p*****g way Theo could have got to the bridge. What a ridiculous storyline."

jfield03 said: "Theo can hardly walk lol but walked all the way to the bridge and no one saw him, I don’t think so. "

sassymother said: " #Emmerdale need to get they're storylines straight. How can a 1 and half year old walk all the way to a bridge and looking over it.. REALLY REALLY."

Sarah said: "Theo was standing on the bridge and looked over it into the water...funny that....he's not even big enough to walk."

And Georgia said: "So Meena is saying that little boy managed to walk all the way through the village by himself without anyone seeing him?"

*Emmerdale continues at 7pm on ITV tomorrow
