Emmerdale actress Paige Sandhu has given viewers a sneak peek at how the epic Christmas Day explosion was filmed.
The 24-year-old actress, who plays Meena Jutla in the ITV soap, was embroiled in the main storyline on December 25.
An hour-long festive episode of Emmerdale saw Meen'a sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) confront her sibling after she caught her trying to plant heroin on Dawn Taylor.
And it certainly wasn't a very happy Christmas for either of them as the village's beloved Woolpack pub was blown up - leaving them both lifeless under the rubble.
The drama kicked off as Manpreet became the first person in the village to realise that her sister was a psychotic killer.
But Manpreet made the crucial error of confronting evil nurse Meena rather than contacting the police.
Saturday's episode ended with the epic explosion as viewers were left wondering if either of them would survive.
Actress Paige later shared a snap of her character laying in the rubble and covered in blood and cuts as she captioned it with a bomb emoji.
She also took to her Instagram Stories to reveal the clever way in which the explosion was filmed.
In the short clip, Rebecca can be seen pretending to slap Paige as they stand by the entrance to the pub with a blue blow up mattress right behind then.
As a loud bang goes off, Rebecca is heard screaming as she and Paige throw themselves back safely onto the mattress.
The official Emmerdale Instagram page also shared some behind-the-scenes videos which showed The Woopack going up in flames.
They captioned the post: "We're sure you're all bereft to see your favourite Yorkshire pub go up in flames! But just in case, here it is again from multiple angles! #Emmerdale #BehindTheScenes #Christmas @itv @wearestv1."
Soap fans were quick to comment on the post, with one person writing: "LOVED THIS EPISODE al is too bad i love meena so much !!! those sister scenes were intense #bestsoap."
Another follower commented: "Emmerdale are hands down BEST this Christmas."
And a third person added: "What a brilliant episode tonight, just hope they both haven't been killed as meena needs her day in court,,but brilliant acting with both of them,I was sitting at the edge of my seat."
