Emmerdale's Paddy and Chas left devastated as memorial to baby Grace destroyed

Emmerdale spoilers have revealed devastation for Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle, following their happy news that she’s pregnant again.

Chas and Paddy sadly lost their baby daughter Grace last year, with her passing away just hours after being born after she was diagnosed with bilateral renal agenesis in the womb.

Following their heartbreak, last week the couple announced to their loved ones they were expecting another child.

In upcoming scenes, they prepare for their baby scan and Paddy makes a sweet gesture.

Not wanting their little Gracie to be forgotten, he decides to build a memorial garden for their tragic daughter.

But this tribute is left in tatters next week thanks to a surprise arrival, leaving the couple heartbroken.

It kicks off when the pair return from the hospital with good news on the health of their unborn baby.

As they head back to the village, they’re left overwhelmed to see the garden has been completed.

Paddy assures Chas her pregnancy will be stress-free, determined for it to be a peaceful time for them.

But in that moment, they’re left alarmed when they hear a huge crash outside the pub and raced out to see what’s happened.

They find Paddy’s father Bear Wolf, and he’s crashed into Gracie’s memorial garden, destroying it.

Paddy and Chas are devastated by what’s happened, as they question what he’s doing there – will they manage to get the garden fixed again?

He’s not seen his dad until he tracked him down in Belfast, where he finally told him he was his secret son.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm.
