Emmerdale's new trailer lines up Graham Foster murder suspects Agatha Christie-style

Emmerdale's Graham Foster has a long list of enemies - and one of the names on it could be the one to murder Andrew Scarborough's character in the New Year.

A new trailer gives some clue as to who it might be who does the deed, teasing various characters in an Agatha Christie-style whodunnit.

Christmas will see a turbulent time in the village, as Graham shows his face at Home Farm after getting the DNA results for Millie.

If he's her dad or not is yet to be seen - but he'll be meeting his end soon enough.

In the dark trailer, Graham can be seen running through the village from various hooded figures.

Anna Nightingale's Andrea, Michael Wildman's Al, Claire King's Kim, Alexander Lincoln's Jamie, Chris Bisson's Jai and Mark Charnock's Marlon are all on the list of suspects, scowling at Graham as he tries to flee.

Graham's death has already been confirmed to be a murder by one of the show's producers, Laura Shaw.

She added that the week that he dies will take fans to places they never expected.

"Graham's murder will form part of an unmissable week of drama packed full of exciting twists and turns," she revealed, "It's always exciting to step outside of our usual story-telling style and viewers will be on the edge of their seats as some of our villagers have their lives irrevocably changed forever.

"Graham has been a huge character at the heart of some of our biggest storylines so it felt only fitting that he left us with an enormous, explosive bang, to kick off what promises to be a massive year of drama for Emmerdale."

Many fans believe Andrea to be the obvious suspect - Graham might be the biological father of her daughter Millie.

Others are shocked at the idea that anyone in the village is actually capable of such an act - could we be seeing more twists and turns that we think in the New Year?

*Emmerdale is back this evening at 7pm on ITV.
