Emmerdale can expect more drama for the Sharma family as the ITV soap is set to introduce a new character that will shock the village.
Jai’s cousin Suni, played by Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, will make an appearance following an explosive few days for the village business man. During recent episodes Jai got engaged to Laurel but things soon took a turn for the worse as he found out that he was adopted.
It didn’t take long for Jai to lash out at father Rishi for lying to him, but Rishi is hoping that Suni’s arrival will help restore his relationship with Jai.

Suni will turn up to the village unannounced for his cousin Jai’s wedding. Rushi has not seen his nephew in some time so he was delighted with the surprise reunion.

Brahmdeo will be on screen in the coming weeks and Emmerdale viewers may recognise him from ITV’s hit drama The Bay, where he played boxer Saif Rahman.
He appeared for four episodes of the gritty crime show. The actor has also appeared in a number of well known films such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Enola Holmes 2.
Brahmdeo is also known for his popular online sketches that he posts on his social media accounts.
