Emmerdale's Nate devastated as he learns Tracy has new boyfriend - amid return claims

Emmerdale airs upset for Nate Robinson on the ITV soap next week, as it seems a reunion with ex Tracy Metcalfe is off the cards.

Tracy, played by Amy Walsh, left the village with their baby daughter Frankie in January, to start a new life in Nottingham.

Their romance broke down when Tracy found out Nate had cheated on her, with her sister Vanessa's girlfriend Fiona.

Tracy landed a new job and decided to move away, but vowed to keep Nate in Frankie's life.

Since then, Nate has been down in the dumps after not being able to see his little girl as much as he had hoped, with him hitting the booze.

While he seemed to be doing much better, he's given some big news next week that leaves him gutted all over again.

He learns Tracy has found someone new months on from their heartbreaking split, after Nate recently admitted he was missing her.

Hoping for them to reunite, Nate is down yet again in upcoming scenes as he realises this chance has faded.

He turns back to the booze and even gets cosy with Chloe Harris again, who sets out to cheer him up.

Actress Amy is currently on maternity leave after welcoming her baby daughter Bonnie in December, with her partner and EastEnders actor Toby-Alexander Smith.

She revealed all on a future return to the ITV soap, but confessed she didn't know when she would make her comeback.

Speaking on Loose Women, she said: "Oh, yeah. I mean, God knows when. I don't know. I've got to figure it out logistically, because obviously," before pointing at her baby daughter.

It was also reported that Amy's real-life partner Toby could join the show as a new love interest for her character, while this does not appear to be the case.
