Emmerdale's Moira Dingle's tragic death 'sealed' as fans spot horrifying clue

Emmerdale viewers are fearing Moira Dingle will be shockingly killed off after she was left for dead in brutal scenes.

The ITV soap aired a twist on Wednesday night, as Moira was run over by Jamie Tate.

It won't be confirmed until Friday's episode that the character is injured, with her the victim of a hit-and-run.

She will be left fighting for her life and in a coma in hospital, with it unsure if she will pull through.

Viewers saw Jamie hit someone during Wednesday's visit to the ITV soap, before making an unforgivable decision.

When Jamie realised what he had done, he brought the car to a halt and panicked.

Suddenly he drove off and left his victim dying in the road, with it dark at the time meaning she may not be spotted.

But it was something that happened before the impact that has left viewers sure Moira could die.

As Jamie sped through the country lanes, his speed appeared to accelerate to 90 miles per hour.

He appeared to hit Moira at around this speed or a little less, meaning he will have hit Moira with great force.

Considering road accident statistics, many viewers commented that this could prove fatal or leave her with serious injuries.

While Emmerdale has not confirmed the character's fate, fans are now wondering if this could lead to a shock death.

One fan said: "#Emmerdale so Jamie hits Moira at 80-90 mph & she hasn't croaked it."

Another agreed: Jesus!! Moira got hit at 90mph!!!!"

Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out what happens to her, and whether Jamie will confess all.
