Emmerdale’s Moira Dingle is inching closer and closer to uncovering the truth about Chloe Harris’s pregnancy on the ITV soap next week.
Chloe (Jessie Elland) is pregnant but has long been keeping it secret that the father of her baby is Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), in an effort to protect his relationship with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
However, Mack has repeatedly come close to being exposed, particularly after Charity invited Chloe to move in with them after she collapsed.
ITV spoilers have now revealed that it is Mack’s sister Moira who could expose the truth of the matter in the village, as Mack and Charity’s wedding quickly approaches.
In scenes next week, Sarah and Chloe return to the village as the preparations for Charity’s wedding continue apace.
Yet there’s a bump in the road when Charity is gutted to hear the venue for her hen do has been flooded.
A visit from Moira leaves her newly responsible for both the hen party and Mack’s stag, as well as being Mack’s best man – and Charity’s very sceptical of his choice.
The awkward state of the situation is worsened when Sarah and Chloe arrive and Mack wants to know what’s going on.
When she reveals she’s only back for a medical appointment and will be moving permanently to Scotland soon, he’s relieved.
But the scene leaves Moira suspicious, as she watches Chloe and Mack interact, it hits her that there must be more to the story going on.
Against her better judgements, she decides to leave the situation for now. The following day, Charity is getting nervous about Moira organising her hen.
In later scenes, Moira has some questions for Mack – is he really sure he wants to give up the chance to have a baby of his own?
Charity’s not happy when she arrives home to find Moira sowing doubts with her pointed comments.
The wedding preparations continue to unravel when Ryan and Nate then say they’re not coming to Mack’s stag, leaving him flustered as it all falls apart.
At the Hide, things go from bad to worse as Charity’s unimpressed when Moira reveals the theme for the combined Stag and Hen do…
Moira continues to pressure Mack about choosing Charity over the chance to have a child.
Then, Chloe’s defiant when Mack tells her not to stay long at the party, only for Charity to injure Chloe whilst celebrating the result of a ferret race.
Acting out of character to those around him, Mack rushes to her aid and Amy takes winded Chloe to the hospital.
Mack has to check himself from seeming overly concerned, but Moira continues to stir things up with Charity.
Mack knows he has to say something and Charity reels after he confesses Moira thinks he still wants to be a dad more than anything.
Charity struggles to believe Mack when he says there’s nothing in Moira’s claims and when Charity bolts for the exit, Mack says he’ll never forgive Moira if she’s ruined this relationship for him.
