Emmerdale's Mimi Slinger and Strictly boyfriend HRVY want to be the new Posh and Becks

Emmerdale star Mimi Slinger and boyfriend singer HRVY have set their sights on being the new Posh and Becks.

HRVY, 23, who was a runner-up in the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing, has talked to our colleagues at the Daily Star about his relationship with Mimi Slinger, 19, who played Leanna Cavanagh in Emmerdale between 2018 and 2021. Emmerdale fans will remember Meena Jutla, portrayed by Paige Sandhu, killed off Leanna as part of his murderous spree in the village.

HRVY said: "We actually met on a red carpet a year ago at the NTAs - she was stood in front of me and I was like 'woah, she's fit and she looks lovely'. We ended up chatting that night actually and it went from there and we have the NTAs coming up again in a few weeks' time and we'll turn up together."

HRVY discussed what the pair’s ideal ‘couple goals’ are with the star making an hilarious faux pas before correcting himself. He said: “I don't know about couple goals but one day we could be like Angelina and Brad Pitt. Oh no, they broke up, didn't they? Or Posh and Becks one day maybe."

HRVY also let fans know a little about his partner’s upcoming work. He said: "She's doing loads of self-tapes for Netflix and Amazon at the moment and she does her modelling thing as well, so she doing her thing."
