Emmerdale's Michelle Hardwick shows off baby bump as she embraces lockdown life

Michelle Hardwick in blossoming in the spring lockdown as she shows off her baby bump.

The 44-year-old Emmerdale actress has been home bound since filming was stopped on the ITV soap and she has embraced her maternity period alongside her wife Kate Brooks, who is a producer on the Yorkshire soap.

Michelle is expecting her first child and she posted a pic of her growing bump on Instagram along with her wonderment at how her life has changed.

The actress, who plays vet Vanessa Woodfield in the soap, joked that she doesn't know who she is after becoming a homebaking mum-to-be.

Posting a snap of her wearing a maternity dress while holding a tray of brownies that she had rustled up in the kitchen.

Captioning the pic, Michelle wrote: "I’ve baked brownies and I’m wearing a floral maternity dress. What has become of me? #adventuresinpregnancy #wethairdontcare"

Michell and Kate announced that they were expecting with a fabulous family pic last month, as they cuddled up to their dog.

They wrote at the time: "Fred's big brother duties commence in October #BabyBrooks."

The happy news comes just over six months after the pair were married at Elvis' home at Graceland.

Posing in a white jumpsuit in the doorway, Michelle announced the nuptials by writing: "In over 100 degrees heat, on Tuesday 10th September, I became Mrs Brooks. #graceland #chapelinthewoods #memphis #nextstopnashville."

Kate beamed next to her new wife in a flowing white dress as the pair paid homage to The King.

They had got engaged in December 2018 after Michelle had planned the proposal for months beforehand.
