Emmerdale's Michelle Hardwick and new wife dance to Dolly Parton at wedding

Emmerdale 's Michelle Hardwick and her new wife Kate Brooks celebrated in style as they danced to Dolly Parton at their wedding.

The actress, who plays Vanessa Woodfield, and the soap producer tied the knot last month in a lavish ceremony at Graceland in Memphis.

And over the weekend, they celebrated with their family and friends by throwing a reception back home in the UK.

But sticking with their country theme, the newlyweds were entertained by a Dolly Parton tribute act.

Taking to the dancefloor in their stunning white matching outfits, they danced to Here You Come Again.

Michelle, 42, and Kate, 41, held hands as they shared the stage with the Dolly tribute.

Their loved ones watched from the sidelines as they twirled together to celebrate the start of their married life.

Michelle recently announced she'd married Kate in an Instagram post.

Sharing gorgeous pictures of them together on their big day, she said: "In over 100 degrees heat, on Tuesday 10th September, I became Mrs Brooks️ #graceland #chapelinthewoods #memphis #nextstopnashville."

For their wedding, Michelle wore a stunning white low-cut jumpsuit while Kate wore a beautiful floor-length white dress with tiny yellow flowers printed all over it.

Showing off their outfits on Istagram, Michelle said: "Massive thank you to @vanderholden @clairstannard @jennefc for such a wonderful wedding gift! Our wedding outfits! Love you girls"

Michelle married Kate not long after opening up about the homophobia she encounters while out with her wife.

She told the Mirror: "Sometimes if Kate and I see a group of young lads we instinctively let go of each other’s hands because we’re scared they’ll turn on us. We live with that fear every day.

"I feel like we’re going backwards in society with our attitudes. People who say, 'Gay Pride? Why isn’t there a Straight Pride?' I’ll tell you why, because you don’t need it.

"Because luckily for you, you’re able to be affectionate with your partner in public and you won’t be abused for it. It’s absolutely vile what goes on."
