Meena Jutla’s (Paige Sandhu) murderous side has risen once again to the surface in recent weeks in Emmerdale.
In ITV’s Super Soap Week, last week, we saw Meena try to kill not one, but two characters. We first saw her try to drown Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) in the river at the Survival Camp.
During this ordeal, Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) oversaw, which led to mean Meena tracking her down, which eventually led to her causing her eventual death.

Now, ITV bosses have confirmed that Meena will have a new love interest on the rise, after David Metcalfe’s (Matthew Wolfenden) love confession to Victoria.
Last night’s episode saw Meena discover a card from David to Victoria which penned that he loved her. Faced with another hard-hitting truth that David is no longer interested in her, Meena’s rath was enraged once again.
However, it seems like Meena will finally move onto David as spoilers have revealed that she is set to have a new love interest in the popular ITV soap.
Although the identity of this new love interest is yet to be revealed, hardcore fans will know that anyone who gets closely involved with Meena, could be putting their lives at risk.
Meena even tried to kill Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) in Monday night’s episode, fearing she may have seen what she did to Andrea in the maize maze. Will Meena’s new love interest also be put in danger?
Emmerdale’s executive producer, Jane Hudson, has teased at what is coming up on some upcoming episode. And it seems like the drama is far from over.
She says ‘’when someone comes close to finding out what happened during adventure week, Meena has to take drastic action."
Fans would have seen that Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) has CCTV footage on his laptop of Meena’s attempt to drown Victoria. Could it be that Meena finds out about this and sets after him as a new love interest to then set her traps on him?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7 pm on ITV, and an extra episode at 8 pm on Thursdays.
