Emmerdale's Meena Jutla began her revenge plan against love rival Dawn Taylor, during Monday night's episode of the ITV soap.
Spoilers had teased she would meddle in Dawn's life following the return of her son Lucas' father Alex, amid her getting close to her ex Billy Fletcher.
Billy is now with Meena, but it's clear the pair still love each other.
This Christmas will see them fight their feelings for each other, before Meena decides to stop them in their tracks - as it's evident he's plotting to leave her.
Meena is possessive of Billy having already confessed her love for him, so the idea of losing him to Dawn leaves her in a rage.
She will take action and try to get Dawn in huge trouble with the law and social services, in a bid to ruin her life in revenge over Billy.
Before that, Monday's episode saw Meena begin her plot, and it seems to lead to a character going missing.
During the latest visit to the Dales, Meena spied on Dawn speaking to her ex about possibly seeing their son Lucas.
Alex had deliberately got Dawn hooked on heroin years ago when they were dating, in fear she would leave him.
Dawn fell pregnant with Lucas and he was taken into care, while recently Dawn has been able to have him live with her - despite a few hiccups along the way.
It's these hiccups that Meena used against her, and she soon lied about the incidents to set up Dawn and even Billy in a conversation with Alex.
Clearly seeing Billy and Dawn had feelings for each other, Meena sought out Alex after he told Lucas he was his real dad.
This bombshell led to a row between him, Billy and Dawn, with things later discussed between the trio - with this being the chat Meena was watching from afar.
Meena soon told Alex that Lucas was in danger, and he should not be with Billy or Dawn, or even Dawn's stepmother Harriet.
She lied that "someone needs to save Lucas" as he was at risk, hinting Alex should be the one to save him.
Claiming Billy had only just got out of prison for GBH, and how Dawn was still on drugs, even though neither of this is true, she also claimed Harriet was a drunk.
Alex was alarmed by the claims, as Meena pleaded with him to do something to rescue Lucas before it was too late.
