Emmerdale’ s Meena Jutla was left feeling furious during Friday night's episode of the ITV soap when her plan to get rid of Jacob Gallagher ended up backfiring.
David Metcalfe's evil girlfriend is desperate to have him to herself and begins to plot a way in which she can convince Jacob to leave the country and go travelling.
As the three of them stood in the shop during the latest episode, Meena saw it as the perfect chance to plant the seed in Jacob's head about his ex-girlfriend Leanna.
"Are you okay with Leanna these days?" Meena asked him. "Her 18th bash has turned into a bit of a leaving do now, it’s a good chance for you to bury the hatchet properly..."

"A leaving do? She’s going somewhere?" Jacob replied, looking panicked as Meena began to think her plan had worked.
"Travelling," Meena quickly told him as his dad David asked: "You okay with that?"
"Nothing to do with me, probably for the best she goes," Jacob shrugged, as David tried to convince him to be honest.
"But it’s not nice to be left behind," Meena teased, trying to change his mind as David added: "Nothing worse than having itchy feet!"

But Jacob wasn't bothered at all and told them: "I don’t have itchy anything!" before asking David: "You trying to get rid of me?"
"Don’t be daft!" David replied, before adding: "Mate, the only thing that I hate more than not having you here, is you being here because you think you have no choice.
"You have a choice. I want you to be happy, wherever that is," David added, before turning to smile at Meena.

Despite grinning back, it was clear to see that Meena was not impressed with the outcome of the conversation as she realised her plan had backfired.
Meena is growing more and more possessive of boyfriend David, and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
Sadly it has been confirmed that someone will meet her wrath very soon as she turns murderer - and Emmerdale fans fear it will be young Jacob.

The cast of the ITV soap have been teasing who it could be, with those tipped to be in danger being David, Jacob, Leanna Cavanagh and Victoria Sugden.
All of the characters are tipped to cross paths with Meena or those closest to her, and one of them will be her first victim in the village.
Details are being kept under wraps as to how the person dies and why Meena kills them, but she's not set to feel any remorse for her actions.
