In his latest Instagram post, the hunk showed off the rewards of his fitness labours for all his fans to see.
The actor, 28, has started a gruelling three-week plan and aims to tone up now the lockdown is beginning to ease.
Proudly showing off his efforts on social media, the handsome actor stripped off to showcase his ripped upper body.
All eyes were on his toned stomach as he only wore grey jogging bottoms.
"Feels amazing to be back in the gym...someone should tell my face," Max joked.
He left fans hot under the collar with his sensational snap.
Among the crowd, one wrote: "Looking fit babe x."
Another added: "You look amazing without being in the gym! A few weeks in the gym, you'll be Mr Universe!"
The soap star made headlines in July after rumours swirled he had struck up a relationship with his fellow Emmerdale co-star, actor Kris Mochrie.
Kris played Max's brother, Lee Posner, on the ITV show.
His character was murdered by Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) after he learnt he had raped his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins).
Meanwhile, Luke has since formed a romance with Victoria on Emmerdale.
A source told The Sun Online about Max and Kris' alleged romance: "They met on Kris' last day filming and just hit it off.
"They were cast as brothers and are really alike and have been joking that casting did a great job.
"The boys kept in touch after Kris finished on the show but they've spent a lot of time together over summer. It's early days but they're really enjoying themselves and who knows what the future holds."
The hunky actors were pictured in a number of social media clips and photos in recent weeks as they enjoyed a staycation together.
