Emmerdale's Mark Jordon looks completely unrecognisable as he unveils dramatic new look

Former Emmerdale star Mark Jordon who is best recognised for his role as Daz Spencer on the ITV soap has unveiled a dramatic new look.

The 56-year-old actor sent fans into a frenzy when he uploaded a picture of himself to social media sporting his freshly shaved head.

It comes 13 years on from his stint in the Dales and fans cannot believe how different he looks without with iconic curly locks.

Mark was also sporting a grey moustache and short beard as oppose to his usual clean shaven look.

The star, who looked completely unrecognisable from his former characters Daz in Emmerdale and PC Phil Bellamy in Heartbeat, was quickly flooded with comments from stunned fans.

Mark looked totally different as he unveiled his dramatic transformation (Instagram)

He captioned the post: "Step too far."

Heatherfairfull said: "I think you suit it."

Elaine1058 penned: "Wow how much younger do you look, it really suits you."

Parrswoodmichael68 added: "Wow...that's severe Mark! Prefer the hair as it makes you look younger, but you could always start again!"

However, not everyone agreed.

Mariamurray8559 responded: "Prefer you with you curls."

Marianne.orourke1 added: "Omg yes...way too far."

The Emmerdale favourite left Daz behind back in 2019 after portraying the the brother of Dan Spencer since 2014.

Marks partner Laura Norton, who has played the role of Kerry Wyatt since 2012, is still currently in the show.

The pair who met on set, welcomed their first child together at the start of this year.

Laura took maternity leave after welcoming their son Jesse but has since returned to the show.

Mark also has a 21-year-old daughter named Poppy from his first marriage with actress Siobhan Finneran.
