Emmerdale's Mark Charnock supported after 'exhausting' update

Emmerdale actor Mark Charnock made a plea to fans on social media.

The Marlon Dingle star, 54, has thousands of Instagram followers, and regularly provides updates of his life away from filming.

Recently, however, it seems someone has been impersonating him on the online platform. Sharing a screenshot of a fake account, Mark asked people to "please report and unfollow" the account.

Captioning his post, Mark said: "Sigh…this is someone pretending to be me. It’s exhausting. Why do people do this? It’s SO weird. Please report and unfollow. Thank you. X"

Former Aaron Dingle star Danny Miller joked: "So this wasn't you?" to which Mark replied: "Don’t make me come over there!!!"

Gemma Atkinson, who played Carly Hope in the ITV soap until 2017, said: "I wonder if it’s the same person who was going to 'kick us both in the back'. Crikey some people have a lot of free time don’t they?!"

Mark said: "pahahaaaa! I miss that guy! I hope he’s well. X" [sic]. Fans were also quick to support the actor.

Gilly said: "I always report these accounts, some odd people", while Dawn said: "Reported. Some people really have nothing better to do!" Stan said: "Found and reported. There's too much of that nonsense going on on social media."
