Emmerdale's Mackenzie finds out about pregnancy as Kyle returns to crime scene in episode moved for World Cup

Wednesday's episode of Emmerdale suggests that Kyle could be on his way to confessing Al's murder after a rather mysterious ending.

As the episode drew to a close, Kyle and Isaac were spotted next to the fateful barn, playing football. Kyle told his little brother to "wait there" while he wandered off inside, before laying down some rocks that he had brought out of his pocket.

With Moira having been blackmailed by Matty about bringing Kyle back, she and Amy returned home with the boys - despite wanting to stay in Belfast. And this is not the only bit of drama that viewers will catch during Wednesday's episode, which has been moved online due to the World Cup.

Mackenzie has also - finally - found out that Chloe is pregnant, knowing full well that the baby must be his. The pair had a one night stand and Mack returned to his relationship with Charity, not thinking that the illicit affair would come back to bite him.

But Amy found out that Chloe was pregnant and shared the news with Mack, Moira and Matty, obviously not knowing that Mack was the father. Amy had first approached Chloe to tell her to back off with trying to find out who Al's secret lover was, after Chloe had wrongly believed it to be Moira.

Worried that Chloe poking around could lead to her finding out the truth about why Cain was in prison, Chloe told her that it was perhaps best she left Emmerdale for good. Speaking to her in their house, Amy said: "There's nothing here for you, maybe it's best if you just...go."

But Chloe begged to stay, telling Amy that she wanted to get to know her - as the pair have recently learned that they are sisters. And, in a last ditch attempt at letting her stay, Chloe revealed her pregnancy.

When Amy asked about the dad, Chloe replied: "He's not part of it, I'm doing it on my own...and now I have to find a new place to live. I really love it here Amy, this is the first place I've felt safe since my mum and sister died."

Softening, Amy decided that she would let Chloe stay. But she wasted no time in sharing the private news with Mack, Moira and Matty when she returned.

"Did you know she's pregnant?" Chloe asked, with Matty replying that he had heard rumours. "Does she know who the dad is?" He quizzed.

Amy replied: "Just some one night stand she doesn't want anything to do with." At this, Mack looked particularly pale, having just learned about the pregnancy for the first time - and presumably worried that Chloe will tell.
