Emmerdale's Liv makes disturbing Maya confession after break-in blunder

Liv Flaherty made a disturbing confession about Maya Stepney in tonight's Emmerdale.

The teenager broke into her house through the back door and went searching for her money - but fans noticed a blunder.

After discovering the paedophile teacher was having an affair with pupil Jacob Gallagher, Liv started blackmailing them to get money for Robert and Aaron's surrogacy.

But Maya has gone missing after that fateful Big Night Out at the club - leaving Liv without her cash.

In a bid to get the money, Liv busted the lock on the back door and crept into the girls' house.

As she got inside, Liv shouted: "Hello."

She was forced to hide from Leyla in a cupboard before creeping slowly up the stairs.

After failing to find the cash in Maya's room, Liv raced back downstairs and started searching through the draws.

Desperate Liv was rifling through Maya's handbag when she was caught by stunned Leyla.

Liv claimed she was getting what was rightfully hers - but Leyla threatened to go to the police.

When Liv insisted Maya wouldn't want that, Leyla asked: "What do you know about Maya?"

Liv replied: "Everything."

Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to question Liv's antics.

One viewer asked: "Who breaks into someone's house and then says hello? Liv. SMH."

Another added: "Now Liv’s worried about a creaky step. Really?"

A third said: "I'm not sure I understand why Liv is snooping if I'm honest"

*Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7pm with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm
