Emmerdale doctor Liam Cavanagh will get down on one knee for girlfriend Leyla - but trouble is brewing as his former fiance Bernice is set to return to the Dales.
Bit awkward!
This week, Liam gets David involved in preparing his big proposal, yet it all goes a bit wrong as Meena becomes suspicious after sensing a spark between David and Leyla.
What Meena doesn't realise is that David is helping Liam out and when she sees him heading over to see his ex in the street, the nurse is upset.
Meanwhile, David is trying to delay Leyla until Leeana gives him the signal that Liam is ready to propose.
However, Meena is left raging as she sees Leyla and David part ways, convinced that they have become close again.
Meena is convinced that Leyla is trying to steal David away from her and rudely interrupts Liam's proposal to Leyla.
Pollard spots what is going on and points out to David that Liam's plan doesn't appear to be going to plan.
David ends up intervening, pointing out to Meena that the reason he was spending time with Leyla that morning was because he was helping Liam prepare for his proposal and ends up spoiling the proposal.
Liam is devastated that his proposal has been ruined but Leyla doesn't mind and is touched by the lengths he was willing to go to for her.
She suggests to him that he try again and Liam delivers a speech from the heart, leaving her overjoyed by his passion and immediately tells him "Yes".
The couple are ecstatic and celebrate their engagement, but David and Meena's relationship appears to be on rocky ground.
Is this the end for them?
