Emmerdale fans were left stunned tonight as Leyla told Jacob she'd killed Maya.
Earlier in the episode David told Leyla that he was going to call Maya's mum and try and speak to her so he could get closure.
Leyla told him he shouldn't speak to her, but he said he needed to or Jacob would never speak to him again.
After their chat Leyla met up with Priya and Tracey and told them they had to distract David, before he found out what they'd done to Maya.
They then heard a noise upstairs and they shouted up that they'd called the police - but it was Jacob, back from Portugal as a surprise.
Leyla hugged Jacob and told him that she knew about his and Maya's relationship and that Maya "wasn't going to hurt you anymore" leaving Jacob stunned.
Jacob then flew off the handle at his mum and said that Maya had never harmed him and that "I know what I'm doing."

Leyla begged Jacob to listen to her and Jacob said "you can't stop me seeing her." but then Leyla said: "I can, she's dead, I killed her."
And fans were left stunned after the scenes - but thought that Leyla was lying about her murdering ways.
One said: " I don't think Maya is dead at all. Red herring."
Another said: "I still don't think Maya is dead. I hope she is alive and gets justice."
And a third said: "maya is dead... i don’t believe that leyla is just saying that cause she doesn’t want jacob to go looking for her. can’t wait for the flashback episodes so we can find out what really happened on the big night out."
