Emmerdale viewers have been left scratching their heads about how overworked the show’s police are.
Although, it has resulted in the return of a fan favourite to the village.
As our colleagues at the Liverpool Echo report viewers recently saw Harriet break down over the exhumation at the graveyard.
When concerned Charles approached her to check how she was doing, Harriet became emotional, venting her disapproval of the exhumation.

As Charles led them in a prayer for Richard, the man being exhumed, Harriet was restless, wanting to be left alone.
When one of the foremen was startled by something unusual at the digging site, she went to the police station to hand herself in.
Afterwards, Will panicked as he saw a police car pulling up outside the house.
A stressed Harriet was with PC Swirling. The police officer has become a bit of a fan favourite with his sporadic appearances. The police officer is one of the show's longest-serving recurring characters and has often been called to investigate the troublesome ways of the Emmerdale residents. Andy Moore has played the role since 2004.
One said: "The only police officer in Emmerdale back."
Matthew tweeted: "So Harriet went to the police station on Friday to turn herself in only for the only cop in the village (Swirling) to send her straight back home again!"
Dave wrote: "YAY! Swirling! My fave #emmerdale Detective!"
And a fourth said: "Swirling on the case again."
