Emmerdale’s Laura Norton opened up on her real life romance with former co-star Mark Jordon.
The Kerry Wyatt actress had her head turned by Mark during his brief stint acting alongside her. Even though he has left the ITV soap the couple's relationship is still very much on.
During an interview with Inside Soap the actress opened up about her life with Mark and recalled meeting him for the first time.

"Mark came in as Dan's brother Daz in 2014, initially for a short stint," she recalled. "We kept in touch as friends and grew closer – and we never looked back!
Sha added: "If you'd have said when we first met that in a few years we would be a couple and have a baby, I would've said 'excuse me?'"
When asked if their son would also become an actor, she said: "Whatever makes him happy, I'll support him. Though my dad is determined for him to be a footballer!"
Laura plays Kerry Wyatt on the soap, and Mark portrayed Daz Spencer in 2014 and again between 2017 and 2019. They met on the Emmerdale set and got engaged in late 2018, before welcoming a baby son named Jesse in January 2021.
However Laura revealed that it wasn't love at first sight. ”The Emmerdale set was where we first met, but no it wasn't love at first sight!" she said.
"We didn't have a chance to get to know each other properly at first as Mark was only there for two weeks. Our paths crossed later, we became close friends, then the unexpected happened and now we have a baby – it's bizarre when I think about it!"
The two actors confirmed the news of their engagement on New Year's Day 2019 on Twitter, as Mark reflected on his 'highs and lows' of the past year.
He wrote: "Well, 2018 had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows," he wrote. "Really got to feel the love of true friends.
"Feel blessed by the support of my children and elated to have heard the word 'yes' from the most beautiful woman in the world."
