Emmerdale's Kerry actress Laura Norton gives birth to second child with co-star

Emmerdale star Laura Norton has announced the birth of her second child.

The 39-year-old actress welcomed the latest arrival with partner and co-star Mark Jordan on October 17. She safely delivered an adorable baby girl, who they named Ronnie.

Laura took to Instagram to share the news of the latest addition with her fans and followers. She shared a number of pictures showing the newborn meeting the members of her family with her older sibling planting a sweet kiss on her little head.

The new mum captioned the post: " She’s here!!!! We’ve baked another belta. This little superstar joined us on Mon 17th October. She’s dead clever and a tiny little bundle of joy and beauty. Ronnie Jordon."

Work colleagues and fellow soap stars were among some of the first to congratulate the couple on their new bundle of joy. Hayley Tamaddon said: "Oh my god Laura! Congratulations my darling!"

Daisy Campbell said: "I can’t wait to meet her awww! Congrats." Meanwhile, Fiona Wade said: "Absolutely beautiful!! I cannot wait to meet her!!"

Laura confirmed back in August that she was expecting her second child with her fiancé and former co-star Mark Jordon. Announcing the news on social media at the time, Laura took to Instagram to share a photo of her holding hands with her partner, who played Daz Spencer in the Yorkshire soap, as she revealed that another baby was on the way.
