Emmerdale's Jeff Hordley claims Cain Dingle might finally go too far in the soap's latest 'whodunnit'

Emmerdale legend Jeff Hordley has spoken of once again being a suspect in a whodunit which is set to cause fireworks in the village.

Jeff Hordley, 53, plays Emmerdale best-loved bad boy Cain Dingle. The finger of suspicion is set to come his way when brother Caleb Milligan is viciously attacked and left for dead.

Talking to the Radio Times, Jeff has discussed the upcoming scenes. He said: "It's the nature of the show we are in that we often have these whodunnits and I've been in the line up for many different things over the years."

Jeff added: "It's just another day in paradise for me." It does appear like the future is looking bleak though for his long-lost relation Caleb.

"I think Cain was beginning to accept the fact that he had a brother and he was beginning to quite like that they were starting to get on," he said. It's a shame, as far as Cain's concerned, because once you let him down he isn't the type of person to give you a second chance."
