An Emmerdale star has promised lots of twists and turns in the ITV soap’s latest love triangle.
Alex Lincoln, who plays Jamie Tate in Emmerdale, appeared on panel show Loose Women to offer a hint of what is coming up. The ongoing storyline follows Jamie, Gabby Thomas and Dawn Taylor.
Many viewers have been shocked watching Jamie attempt to wriggle out of parenthood. This is because Gabby’s pregnancy would ruin his chances of a relationship with Dawn Taylor. Jamie has been pushing Gabby towards having an abortion.

Alex, 27, said: “It is exciting. This is the second love triangle I’ve been a part of and it has great working with Rosie (who plays Gabby) and Olivia (who plays Dawn). It is always nice to get your teeth into something like that.”
The actor, who has been in Emmerdale for two years, promised viewers an explosive few weeks of drama.
“It all comes to a head on-screen in the next few weeks where Jamie is trying desperately to make it work with Dawn and this whole thing with Gabby has blown everything apart,” Alex said.
“I think a lot of viewers will find Jamie’s behaviour just awful - which it is. He is trying to manipulate Gabby into essentially not having the baby. It goes back and forth quite a lot.”
