Jacob Gallagher turned violent towards grandfather Eric as he returned home after his grooming ordeal.
The young teen, played by Joe-Warren Plant, ran away with school teacher Maya Stepney after her abuse was exposed.
But she was infuriated to discover that Jacob was still talking to his dad David and pushed him to smash up his phone.
David was left devastated when his son failed to show at their agreed meeting point as Jacob continued to try and please Maya.
But when he went out to get food, he returned to an empty hotel room.

This led him to ring David to bring him back to the Dales, but Jacob was clearly struggling to contain his emotions.
While sitting in the cafe, Leyla asked him whether she could get a hug from him.
Instead, however, he pushed past her and intentionally smashed into Eric, almost knocking him over.
A shocked Faith exclaimed to David: "Great work David, that went really well!"
