Emmerdale's Isabel Hodgins shares glam pics of night out amid 'race probe'

Emmerdale's Isabel Hodgins has shared glam pictures of a night amid reports that the soap is at the centre of a race probe.

In the pictures shared on Instagram, Isabel could be seen posing with friends ahead of a night out, wearing a black dress and bright red lipstick for a very glamorous effect.

Comments quickly flooded in complimenting the actress on her looks with some even adding in how they missed the actress on the ITV soap.

However other fans used the snaps to express their thoughts on the current situation, writing: "I hope it wasn't true what I read - I really liked ur character."

It has been reported by the Sun that an unnamed actress, who is mixed-race, was upset by a comment made to her on set.

It was further claimed that both Isabel and fellow Emmerdale cast member Matthew Wolfenden were at the centre of allegations mimicking the accent of the co-star.

It was also claimed that Isabel and Matthew had an 'explosive row' which combined with the allegations, has left them 'temporarily written out of the soap'.

Isabel and Matthew, who have played Victoria Sudgen and David Metcalfe for 15 years, have denied the allegations and are "said to believe" there has been a misunderstanding.

Emmerdale was forced to issue a statement over reports of the explosive row, which was said to have taken place during filming for last month's Super Soap Week.

An ITV spokesperson told The Mirror: "While we would never comment on individual cases, Emmerdale has robust policies in place to deal with any allegations brought to our attention and take the appropriate steps."
