Harriet Finch was the victim of a shocking attack in tonight’s Emmerdale - but viewers spotted a confusing problem.
The vicar was followed by a mysterious hooded figure while walking back towards the church from the cafe.
A black gloved hand started casually tapping the fence behind unassuming Harriet.
The running attacker then shoved her to the ground and stole her bag, which contained the collection money.
Harriet groaned as she fell on the stones and cut her face as the culprit sprinted away.

Some Emmerdale viewers pointed out that the former police officer didn't put up much of a fight.
Harriet, who only had a graze on her face, didn't even get back up to chase the mugger.
Reacting on Twitter , one viewer asked: "Why is the vicar so pathetic? Thought she was an ex copper (who appears to have forgotten her training..."
A second person agreed: "So that was the attack on Harriet? I thought it was supposed to be something bigger. Eh."
Emmerdale fans have come up with a number of theories about the attacker.
One tweeted: "That was obviously Dawn. She’s become such an unlikeable character"
"Well that wasn’t Dawn!! She doesn’t run like that," added another.
A third asked: "I think it's too obvious it's dawn that mugged Harriet.. But could it be that obvious?"
The number one suspect is set to be Dawn because of her argument with Harriet.
Dawn was going to confess to Jai that she was responsible for mixing up the chocolate order.
But Harriet saw things getting out of hand in the pub as Jai blamed Aiesha and fired his step-sister.
Harriet took matters into her own hands and revealed it was actually Dawn’s fault.
After getting the sack, Dawn told her: “Where the hell do you get off passing judgement after everything you put me through?”
Later, she was seen looking menacingly at the church, in the spot where Harriet was attacked
Telling Ryan they could “all stuff themselves”, Dawn said: Seriously, Ryan, I’ve had enough.”
