Emmerdale's Moira Dingle will be distraught next week, when she learns her brother Mackenzie Boyd has been lying to her.
Not only that, but the guilty newcomer drops two big bombshells on her in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap.
Faith Dingle believes he is hiding something and does some digging, hoping it will land her in the good books of her son Cain, Moira's husband.
But it leads to an explosive showdown between the two men, with Moira soon learning what has been going on.
It appears to be linked to the siblings' late mother, whose death led to Mack's arrival in the village.
He arrived to tell his estranged sister that she had passed away at the end of last year, with Moira gutted she could not say goodbye or attend the funeral having been separated from her family since she was 18.
Next week, spoilers confirm upset for the family as Mother's Day leaves Moira wishing she had healed her rift with her mother before it was too late.
Mack appears very guilty, and edgy when asked about his mum - leaving Faith suspicious.
Faith does some digging while Moira and Mack hold a memorial for their mum, and she ends up sneaking into the house.
Elsewhere, Mack struggles to conceal his guilt as Moira wishes she could have attended the funeral and said a proper goodbye.
When Cain heads home, he confronts Faith - but has she learned the truth?
When Moira heads back herself, she walks in on a stand-off between Cain and Mack and demands to know what is going on.
It's then that Cain leaves her distraught when he tells her what he knows.
Later on, Mack faces the music and tells Moira the truth - before dropping a second secret on her, but will she ever forgive him for his lies?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
